| abstract | TEXTILE MATERIAL FOR MANAGEMENT OF SKIN HEALTH COMPLICATIONS ASSOCIATED WITH SKIN FOLDS AND THEIR METHOD OF USE. The present invention relates to a textile material for managing skin health complications associated with skin folds which includes a disposable textile of selected dimensions impregnated with a selected concentration of an antimicrobial silver complex. The disposable textile is intended to be placed within a skin fold for management of skin health complications associated with it. One method of using disposable textile material includes the steps of performing a routine skin inspection; selectively using a skin cleanser to topically clean the skin fold; selectively using an antifungal powder to topically cover the skin fold; determination of approximate skin fold dimensions; providing a disposable textile material sized such that at least a selected portion of the textile material is exposed to air outside the skin fold; and placing the textile material over the skin of the skin fold, such that the skin fold may surround the textile material with at least a selected portion thereof being exposed to air. |
