abstract | MEASURING APPLIANCE, METHOD AND PROGRAM. The present invention relates to a measuring apparatus for enumerating white blood cell particles in a sample comprising: a clip, which is arranged to receive a sample acquisition device holding a sample, an imaging system, comprising a device and at least one image acquisition device, said imaging system being arranged to acquire at least one digital image from the sample, and an image analyzer, which is arranged to analyze digital image, to identify particles and white blood cells and determine the number of particles or white blood cells that are willing to analyze the gigital image to identify particles or white blood cells that are portrayed in focus, determine the types of these particles or white blood cells, the types being distinguished by the physical characteristics and determined the proportion of different types of particles or white blood cells. |
