PROCESS OF DIRECT EPOXIDATION USING A MIXED CATALYTIC SYSTEM. The present invention is a process to epoxide an olefin with oxygen in the presence of a mixed catalytic mixture containing titanium or vanadium zeolite and a supported catalyst comprising palladium and a vehicle. The process results in a significantly reduced alkane by-product formed by hydrogenation of olefin. |
