USE OF BIARYL CARBOXAMIDS IN THE TREATMENT OF DISORDERS RELATED TO THE HEDGE-HOG REACTION SERIES. The present invention relates to methods for modulating, for example, antagonizing, the activity of the Hedgehog signaling reaction series. In particular, the invention provides methods for inhibiting aberrant developmental states resulting from phenotypes such as loss of Ptc function, gain of Hedgehog function, gain of smo-othened function or gain of Gli function, comprising contact of a cell with a sufficient amount of a compound of the invention (for example, a compound of Formula I). |
