abstract | <B> LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITION; CONCENTRATED COMPOSITION OF LUBRICATING OIL ADDITIVE, ENGINE OIL COMPOSITION; CONCENTRATED COMPOSITION OF ENGINE OIL ADDITIVE; AND METHOD OF INCREASING THE CONCENTRATION OF AT LEAST ONE PHENOLIC ANTIOXIDANT PREVENTED IN A CONCENTRATED LUBRICATING OIL ADDITIVE COMPOSITION. <D> A lubricating oil composition with synergistic oxidative stability is described, the composition comprising at least one phenolic antioxidant. at least one mono-boronated hindered phenolic antioxidant, at least one dorsoronated hindered phenolic antioxidant, at least one alkylated diphenylamine and at least one organomolybdenum compound. The present invention also provides a concentrated lubricating oil additive composition that provides synergistic oxidative stability to a lubricating oil with its addition, the concentrated composition comprising at least one hindered phenolic antioxidant, at least one mono-boronated hindered phenolic antioxidant, at least a di-boronated hindered phenolic antioxidant, at least one alkylated diphenylamine and at least one organomolybdenum compound. In addition, the concentrated composition of the present invention can also be prepared with a high concentration of hindered phenolic antioxidants without deleterious effects on viscosity or solubility of the lubricant. |
