abstract The present invention relates to a process of husking wheat grains as well as the products obtained by said process, namely the husked wheat grains and the films that have been separated. . It also refers to a specific installation for use of the process. The process of husking wheat grains according to the invention particularly comprises the following steps: a) cleaning the raw wheat grains; (b) humidification of the wheat grains thus cleaned; (c) contacting the wheat grains after their humidification in step (b) or at the same time with ozone; d) separating the grain films from the partially or fully husked grain mass in step (c).
