titleOfInvention process for the preparation of beta-nucleic acid derivatives and intermediates thereof
abstract PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF BETA-NUCLEIC ACID DERIVATIVES AND INTERMEDIARIES OF THE SAME. The present invention relates to a new method for producing 2,2'-anhydrous-1- (<225> -L-arabinofuranosyl) thymine as a new and useful intermediate compound. The invention also relates to a new method for producing thymidine from 2,2'-anhydrous-1- <225> -L-arabinofuranosyl) thymine. According to these methods, the synthesis of various L-nucleic acid derivatives, the synthesis of which was difficult until then.
