abstract FUEL COMPOSITION ABLE TO PRODUCE HYDROGEN THROUGH CHEMICAL REACTION FOR USE IN FUEL CELL AND GAS GENERATOR ADAPTED FOR USE WITH THE SAME. In a reaction of water or other liquids that react with solid borohydride fuels, the liquid reagent and / or additives are converted into a gel form (14). The solid member sodium metal hydride (26). The single metal catalyst / hydride member is inserted into a gel (14) to initiate the reaction to produce hydrogen and is removed from the gel to stop or regulate the reaction. A self-regulating gas generator (10, 40) using a fuel production formulation automatically controls its reaction rate to control the internal pressure of the gas operator.
