ABSORBENT ARTICLE. The present invention relates to an absorbent article that is capable of separating urine and feces efficiently in use and having a high urine absorption capacity. The purpose is achieved by an absorbent article that includes: a first sheet-shaped leak preventer having a base part; a pair of side members extending in a longitudinal direction on the right and left sides of the base part of the first leak preventer; an absorber comprising at least one layer in an internal space formed by the base part of the first leak preventer and the side members, containing a superabsorbent polymer, and capable of absorbing a fluid from the body; and a connecting member connected to the pair of side members for connecting the side members, dividing the internal space in front and rear, capable of exhibiting a function of separating urine and feces, in which the connecting member is formed to be distensible in a lateral direction. |
