abstract |
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PERIPHERAL IMAGE POSITION CONTROL FOR REDUCING MYOPIA PROGRESS. The present invention relates to a method and apparatus which are described for controlling optical aberrations for altering relative field curvature by providing optical devices and methods comprising repositioning off-axis peripheral focal points with respect to the retina. for stimulus production to influence the progression of refractive error while simultaneously controlling the position of the central focal point near the retina to provide clear central vision and simultaneously providing controlled peripheral focus lack zones and other optical aberrations to enhance peripheral vision for the selected look directions. |
