abstract method of purifying programmed cardiomyocytes or cardiomyocytes derived from stem cells or fetuses the present invention relates to the development of a method to purify cardiomyocytes with a high degree of purification and with high yield from a cell mixture comprising cardiomyocytes derived from fetuses and of stem cells using various characteristics which were not previously expected to be used for the purification of cardiomyocytes, or which are recently discovered, in which the said method is carried out without undergoing any genetic modification or without adding any biologically active proteins or agents special. the inventors of the present invention found that cardio myocytes were highly selected and effectively purified by culturing cardiomyocytes derived from embryonic stem cells in the culture medium under a condition selected from a selected condition with little serum, a condition supplemented with little glucose, a low nutritional condition, a low calcium condition, a mildly acidic ph condition, a condition supplemented with lactic acid, a condition supplemented with aspartic acid / glutamic acid and / or a condition supplemented with pyruvic acid. the inventors of the present invention have further discovered that the method invented above, in relation to embryonic stem cells, was applicable to select and purify cardiomyocytes derived from fetuses or adult stem cells.
