abstract COMPOSITION OF METALLURGICAL DUST. The present invention relates to a metallurgical composition for producing compacted parts, comprising: (a) at least about 80 percent of an iron or iron-based powder; (b) up to about 20 weight percent of at least one binding powder; (c) from about 0.05 to about 2 weight percent of a binding agent comprising a C ~ 14 ~ C ~ 30 ~ fatty alcohol; and (d) from about 0.001 to about 0.2 weight percent of a flow agent.
