titleOfInvention | process for manufacturing test sensor electrodes |
abstract | PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING ELECTRODES FOR TEST SENSORS. a method for forming a plurality of electrodes on a test sensor is disclosed which includes providing a substrate. The test sensor assists in determining the concentration of an analyte. At least one opening is formed through the substrate. Catalytic paint or catalytic polymer solution is applied in a pattern on both sides of the substrate. Catalytic paint or zatalitic polymeric solution assists in defining the plurality of electrodes for the test sensor. After applying the catalytic paint or polymeric catalytic solution, the substrate is metallized without electrolysis to form the plurality of electrodes on the substrate. The plurality of electrodes helps to determine the concentration of the analyte. |
