CHOLESTEROL ABSORPTION INHIBITOR COMPOSITION UNDERSTANDING BIFIDOBACTERIUM BACTERIA |
abstract |
cholesterol absorption inhibitor. a bacterium belonging to the genus bifidobacterium is reported to have an excellent ability to survive in the digestive tract, has an effect on inhibiting the absorption of cholesterol in the intestinal tract, is excellent on improving lipid metabolism (eg, an effect on reducing the level cholesterol) and has a high survival rate after storage. Also reported is a cholesterol absorption inhibitor using the bacteria. The cholesterol absorption inhibitor comprises as an active ingredient at least one microorganism selected from bifidobacterlum animalis subsp. animalis yit 10394, bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis jcm 1253, bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis jcm 717 and bifidobacterium pseudolongum subsp. Globosum. |
