abstract |
INTERACTION OF MORAXELLA CATARRHALIS WITH EPITHELIAL CELLS, EXTRACELLULAR MATRIX PROTEINS AND WITH THE COMPLEMENT SYSTEM. The present invention relates to Moraxelia catarrhalĂs extracellular matrix proteins and their ability to interact with epithelial cells through cell-associated fibronectin and laminin, and also to their ability to inhibit the complement system. These extracellular proteins are useful in preparing vaccines. The present invention provides peptides that interact with fibronectin, laminin and the complement system. |
