titleOfInvention | sulfide dyes |
abstract | SULFET DYES. The present invention relates to compounds of formula, keratin-containing fiber dyeing method which comprises treating the fiber with at least one sulfide dye of the formula and its isomers salts, hydrates and other soolvates, wherein R1, R2 R 2, R 3 and R 4 independently of each other are hydrogen; C 1-1 -C 20 alkyl; C 1-1 -C 20 alkoxy; C 3 -C 6 cycloalkyl; halogen; NO 2, OH; SH: or a radical of formula (1a) wherein R 5 is hydrogen; or C 1-1 -C 20 alkyl; R 6, R 7 and R 8 independently of each other are hydrogen, C 1-20 alkyl, C 4-12 cycloalkyl, C6- C 1-13 aralkyl; phenyl-C 1 -C 5 alkyl; or R 6 and R 7 together with the linking nitrogen atom form a C 4 -C 12 heterocyclic ring which may be interrupted by one or more of a -O- or - group. NH-; Y 1 is C 1 -C 10 alkylene; C5 -C10 cycloalkylene; C 5 -C 10 -ylene- (C 1 -C 10 -alkylene); T 1 is a radical of formula (1b); or -O- (X 3 -) s; Q1 is a cationic biradical of a saturated, aromatic or heteroaromatic group; or a radical of formula (1c). Z ~ 1 ~ is -C (O) -; - (CH ~ 2 ~ CH ~ 2 ~ -O) ~ 1-5 ~; -C (O) O-; -HOLLOW-; CON (R 9) -; -X ~ 4 -CON (R ~ 9 ~) -; - (R 9) NC (O) -; -THE-; -S-; -ONLY)-; or -S (O) -2- -; R 9, R 10 and R 11 each independently of the other are hydrogen; C 1-1 -C 14 alkyl; C 2-2 -C 14 alkenyl; C 6-6 -C 10 -aryl; C 6-6 -C 10 aryl-C 1-1 -C 10 alkyl; or C 1 -C 10 -C 10 alkyl (C 5 -C 10 aryl); X 1, X 2, X 3 and X 4 independently of each other are C 1 -C 18 alkylene; - (CO) -C 1 -C 18 alkylene C 1 -C 18 arylene; C 6 -C 18 arylene C 1 -C 12 alkylene; or - (OCH ~ 2 ~ CH ~ 2 ~) ~ n ~ -O-; n is a number from 1 to 5; p, r, s, t and u, independently of each other, are a 0 or 1; m is 1; or 2; U is hydrogen if m is 1; and U is the direct bond if m is 2. The compounds are useful for dyeing organic materials such as keratin fibers, preferably human hair. Dyes are distinguished by dyeing that exhibits good fixation properties with respect to washing, light, shampooing and rubbing. |
