abstract |
process for the polymerization of olefins. The present invention describes a multi-step process comprising the following steps: step a) polymerizing propylene and optionally one or more monomers chosen from ethylene or α-olefins of the formula wherein t t = 1; is a C 2 -C 10 alkyl radical in the presence of a catalytic system supported on an inert support, comprising: i) one or more metallocene compounds of formula (i). ii) an alumoxane or a compound capable of forming an alkylmetalocene cation; and optionally iii) an organo metal compound; step b) contacting, under polymerization conditions, in gaseous, propylene or ethylene phase with one or more α-olefins of formula ch ~ 2 ~ = cht, wherein t is hydrogen or a C 1-1 alkyl radical - and optionally with an unconjugated diene in the presence of the polymer obtained in step a) and optionally in the presence of an additional organoaluminium compound; provided that no homopolymer is produced; wherein the compound of formula (i) is described in the patent application. |
