abstract |
high performance phosphate ester hydraulic fluid. The present invention relates to a high performance hydraulic fluid suitable for use as an aircraft hydraulic fluid comprising a higher amount of tri (n-butyl) phosphate, a lower amount of a triaryl phosphate and optionally a lower amount of tri. (isobutyl) phosphate. The compositions of the present invention provide superior flash point and fire performance as well as extended service life of the fluid. Such properties are highly valuable as modern jet hydraulic jet aircraft. |
