The domain of the invention is that of the synthesis of functionalized organosilicic compounds that comprise at least one activated azo group, of formula (I): [(G0)] 3SiO1 / 2] m [(G0) 2SiO2 / 2] m [G0SiO3 / 2 ] [SiO4 / 2] (G2) to (G1) a (Z-CO-HN = NH-CO-A) SiO (3-aa)]. These compounds can be, for example, a mixture: of the silane species of formula: (ia): (C2H5O) 3Si- (CH2) 3-NH-CO-N = N-COOC2H3; with the siloxane species of formulas: (2i.1a): [(CH3) 3SiO1 / 2] [(C2H5O) 2 {[CH2) 3-NH-CO-N = N-COOC2H5} SiO 1/2] and (2i .2a): [(CH3) 3SiO1 / 2] 2 [(C2H5O) {(CH2) 3-NH-CO-N = N-COOC2H5} SiO2 / 2]. The invention also relates to the process of preparing these compounds (I), in which at least one hydrazine precursor (II) (-HN-NH-) of the compound (I) is used to oxidize the precursor (II) in group azo proper to the compound (I), with the help of an oxidizing system that comprises at least one oxidizer (OX) and at least base (B), this process consisting of selecting base B among the mineral bases and OX among the halogens, the cyanide compounds and chlorinated compounds and their mixtures, and intervene an additional reactive chosen from the silanes (taken alone or mixture between them) of formula (III): (G) 4-p1Si (G2 ') p1 [for example (CH3 ) 3 (C2H5O) Si].
