abstract |
METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING A FINISHED ELECTRIC CABLE AND ELECTRICAL CABLES The present invention includes a cable (12) which has reduced surface friction and the method of manufacture thereof which has steps in which a conductor wire (14) is coated with a mixture of a plastic material (17) and lubricating material (19) in which the coated conductor is cooled. The cable (12) includes at least one conductor wire (14) and at least one sheath of plastics material (17) and incorporates a lubricating material (19) in and / or over the plastics material (17). The equipment for manufacturing the electrical cable (12) includes a spool (13) for supplying the conductor wire (14) to an extrusion head (15) that is connected to tanks (16 and 18) which contain plastic material (17) and material lubricant (19), respectively, to coat the conductor wire (14), and a spool (21) to remove the cable (12). |
