abstract | PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF POLYHYDROXIALCANOATES, POLY-3-HYDROXYBUTYRATE, AND, BIODEGRADABLE POLYESTER MIXTURE. The invention relates to a process for the preparation of polyhydroxyalkanoates by the polymerization of lactones of general formula I, in which the substituents and the index n have the designation mentioned in the specification, in the presence of at least one catalyst of formula (II) L ~ 1 ~ M ^ a ^ X ^ a ^ ~ m ~, where the substituents and indices have the designation mentioned in the specification. The invention also relates to poly-3-hydroxybutyrates which have a new profile of properties and are accessible for the first time by said process and biologically degradable polyester mixtures based on said poly-3-hydroxybutyrates. |
