abstract | PROCESS TO PREPARE PROPENE FROM PROPANE. The invention relates to a process for the production of propane from propane, said process consisting of: A) preparing an inlet gas stream (a) containing propane: B) introducing the inlet gas stream (a) ) containing propane, optionally water vapor and optionally an oxygen-containing gas stream, within a dehydrogenation zone, and then dehydrogenating propane from propene, a product gas stream (b) containing propane, propene, methane, ethane, ethylene, nitrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, water vapor, optionally hydrogen and optionally oxygen, being obtained; C) cooling and optionally compressing the gas stream of the product (b) and then separating the water vapor by condensing a gas stream of the product (c) depletive into water vapor (c) being obtained; D) separating the non - condensable or low boiling gaseous constituents which come into contact with the product gas stream (c) with an inert absorber, and then by desorption of the dissolved gases into said inert absorber, C 3-3 hydrocarbon (d1) and a residual gas stream (d2) containing methane, ethane, ethylene, nitrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, optionally hydrogen and optionally oxygen, being obtained; E) cooling and optionally compressing the C3-3 hydrocarbon stream (e1) into a first distillation zone and then distilling it off into a propane and propene stream (f1) and a stream ( f2) containing ethane and ethane; G) introducing stream (e1) or (f1) into a (second) distillation zone by separating, by distillation, into a propylene stream (g1) and a propane stream (g2), the stream (g2) ) being recycled at least partially to the dehydrogenation zone. |
