titleOfInvention | pigmented aqueous coating composition, process of applying to a substrate of a coating, use of polymer and oligomer in combination, and method of manufacturing the addition oligomer |
abstract | COMPOSITION OF PIGMENTE WATER COATING, PROCESS FOR APPLYING A SUBSTRATE OF A COATING, USE OF THE POLYMER AND OLIGMER IN COMBINATION, AND THE METHOD OF MANUFACTURE OF THE ADDITION OLIGMER. The invention relates to a pigmented aqueous coating composition comprising: i) an aqueous dispersion of non-crosslinkable addition oligomer of weight average molecular weight of 5,000 to 15,000 Daltons and a calculated Tg Fox greater than 0 ° C and less than 50 ° C, (ii) an aqueous dispersion of weight average molecular weight addition polymer greater than 53,000 Daltons, a calculated Tg Fox greater than 10 ° C and less than 40 ° C, and an average particle diameter less than 150 nanometers; wherein the ratio of i): ii) is from 0.25: 1 to 2.70: 1, based on weight% solids in the dispersion. |
