titleOfInvention fracture suspensions that can be stored containing ultralight weight carriers in xanthan gum based vehicles and process of using them
abstract "FRACTURE SUSPENSIONS WHICH MAY BE STORED CONTAINING ULTRALEVE WEIGHT BRACKETS IN XANTHANE GUM-BASED VEHICLES AND THE SAME USE PROCESS". The present invention relates to a suspension which may be stored for the treatment of an underground formation containing an ultra light weight particulate (ULW) and a xanthan gum carrier fluid or a variation of xanthan, a polysaccharide and water. The suspension exhibits high viscosity at low shear rates and does not appear to be separated for at least one week. The weight ratio of polysaccharide: xanthan in the suspension that can be stored is from about 8: 1 to about 1: 8. Prior to introducing the suspension into the formation, a foam agent may be added, preferably in an amount sufficient to produce a foam quality of from about 30 to about 98.
