abstract "METHOD FOR RELAXING NATURALLY WAVY HAIR AND PRODUCT FOR HAIR TREATMENT". It is a method of relaxing naturally wavy hair which comprises: A) performing a hair treatment session comprising the steps of: i) applying to the hair an alkaline hair relaxer comprising an active hydroxide ; ii) maintaining the hair relaxant for a total period of less than about ten minutes; iii) removal of the hair relaxer; and B) repeating the treatment session described in part (A) to achieve a desired degree of hair relaxation, with the interval between individual treatment sessions ranging from about three to about twenty days.
