abstract |
WASTE WATER TREATMENT EQUIPMENT. The present invention relates to a ballast water treatment apparatus which achieves improved in-line mixer performance by being able to sterilize a large volume of ballast water within a short period of time. a ballast water treatment apparatus comprising pipes for feeding water to a vessel tank and draining the vessel tank is provided; ballast pumps arranged on main pipes; an ozone generator or hydrogen peroxide generator; a gas-liquid injection tube to introduce ozone or hydrogen peroxide generated in the tubes; and an in-line mixer having two blades arranged crosswise in a tubular part composed of a main tubular part, a subsidiary tubular part of smaller internal diameter than that of the main tubular part provided with multiple protrusions and a tapering part. The ballast water treatment apparatus can simultaneously perform destructive mechanical swirl flow sterilization and chemically active substance sterilization by micromixing. |
