| abstract |
method for lubricating a conveyor system. The present invention is a method of lubricating a carrier system comprising i) diluting a carrier lubricant concentrate with water to obtain an aqueous carrier lubricant of a concentration and (ii) irradiating an aqueous carrier lubricant with light, iii) determining the concentration c of the aqueous carrier lubricant by measuring light absorption by the aqueous carrier lubricant with an absorption detector and iv) applying the aqueous carrier lubricant to the carrier system. The present invention also relates to a carrier lubrication system including a metering device with a light source and an absorption detector for measuring light absorption by an aqueous carrier lubricant within a carrier lubrication system. . |
