titleOfInvention | granulated composition |
abstract | GRANULATED COMPOSITION. The present invention relates to a method of making a granular composition comprising brittle microcapsules containing at least one active ingredient, such as a fragrance, comprising applying discontinuous droplets of an aqueous slurry of the microcapsules onto a non-bed. powdered material, and then is dried, and the powdered material has a surface tension as defined by an angle and initial contact of the slurry with the powder of at least 40 <198>, such contact angle is not changing by more than 10% within the first 3 seconds of applying slurry to the powder material. Granules made by this method are generally non-resilient and can withstand rough treatment (eg during the manufacture of products in which they are incorporated), can still easily release their contents when required. These are also capable of being electrically charged. |
