ORAL CARE COMPOSITION, AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING AN ORAL CARE COMPOSITION Oral care compositions composed of: (a) a peroxide complex, hydrogen peroxide compound and a heterocyclic N-vinyl polymer (e.g. N-vinyl polylactam, or poly-N-vinyl polyimide); and (b) a bleaching agent (e.g. hydrogen peroxide); and (c) an orally acceptable carrier. In one embodiment, the carrier is composed of a film forming material. Also disclosed are methods for producing an oral care composition comprising: (a) mixing a bleaching agent, silicone adhesive and fluid carrier to form a homogeneous mixture; (b) adding a peroxide complex to said homogeneous mixture, wherein said complex is composed of hydrogen peroxide and a heterocyclic N-vinyl; and (c) mixing under vacuum. |
