CYCLOHEXAN DERIVATIVE, PRODUCT OF THE SAME AND SALT OF THE SAME AND THERAPEUTIC AGENT CONTAINING SAME FOR DIABETES. A cyclohexane derivative having the function of lowering blood sugar and having required preferable properties of medicinal products, such as long-acting drug activity, metabolic stability and safety; and a medicinal composition for use in the prevention or treatment of diseases attributable to hyperglycemia, such as diabetes, for example, insulin dependent diabetes mellitus (type I diabetes) or non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus (type II diabetes), complications of diabetes and obesity. The derivative is a compound represented by formula (I): Formula 1!
