Expression cassettes and transformation vectors comprising the polynucleotide molecules of the invention, as well as plants and host cells transformed with polynucleotide molecules, expression cassettes and transformation vectors are described. Methods of using polynucleotide molecules to improve herbicide resistance of plants, and methods for controlling weeds in the vicinity of these plants are also described.
