abstract Process for Selective Increase of a Release Amount of an Active Material of a Pharmaceutical Composition The present invention provides a process for the selective increase of the release rate at a later stage of the release period of an active material from a release pharmaceutical composition. controlled compound composed of an active material and a lipid material that soaks said active material, comprising the steps of: adding a swallowable organic disintegrator selected from the group consisting of potato starch, corn starch, wheat starch, starch tapioca starch, pregelatinised starch, physically modified amylose, modified potato starch, amylopectin, sodium starch glycolate, sodium amylopectin glycolate, sodium croscarmellose, calcium alginate, crosslinked dextran and formaldehyde casein, in an amount of 3 to 20% by weight based on the entire weight of the pharmaceutical composition of 1 controlled release for a lipophilic matrix comprising an active material embedded in a lipid material; and a controlled release pharmaceutical composition having a modified release profile composed of an active material, a lipid material soaking said active material, and the above-mentioned swallowable organic disintegrator in an amount of 3 to 20% by weight.
