abstract method of production of recombinant sucrose synthase, use of it in the manufacture of kits for the determination of sucrose, production of adp glucose and production of transgenic plants whose leaves and storage organs accumulate high levels of adp and starch glucose. the present invention relates to a method of producing recombinant sucrose synthase, or its use in the manufacture of kits for the determination of sucrose, the production of adpglycosis and the production of transgenic plants whose leaves and storage organs accumulate high adpglycosis levels and starch. a method is described for the efficient production of large amounts of soluble recombinant ss in active form, by expression of the gene gene encoding ss in an escherichia coli strain. the expression vector used means that the recombinant ss produced has a histidine tip that facilitates its rapid purification. moreover, it describes sequences of mutated versions of the ss gene encoding isoforms of ss suitable for the production of adpg. using the "wild type" and "mutated" versions of recombinant ss, an efficient method is described for the production of adpg and udpg. it also describes the use of ss for the production of test kits for the determination of sucrose. finally, he describes the production and production of transgenic plants that ultra-express the ss gene gene, either constitutively or in leaves or storage organs, and which have a high content (both in leaves and in storage tissues) of sucrose, adpg, g6p and starch as a result of ss adpg synthesis activity.
