titleOfInvention urea compounds, pharmaceutical compositions containing them and their use in the treatment of inflammatory diseases
abstract "UREDIC COMPOUNDS, PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING THE SAME AND ITS USE IN THE TREATMENT OF INFLAMMATORY DISEASES". The present invention discloses functionalized ethyl 6-N-alkyl and / or 6-N-aryl ureas ¢ 1,3-dioxolo ¢ 5,4-g-quinoline-7-carboxylate derivatives (3a-z, 4a-z); and congeners (5a-z) of general formula (I, II, III and IV), useful in the treatment and / or prevention of diseases of inflammatory origin, such as acute or chronic inflammatory conditions, different types of arthritis. , asthma, Crohn's disease and type I diabetes mellitus, among others. These derivatives have the ability to modulate the inflammatory process by acting at the level of the p-38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK-p38). Moreover, the derivatives of the present invention exhibit significant anti-inflammatory properties measured in in vivo models. The present invention also discloses processes for producing such derivatives and pharmaceutical compositions containing them.
