titleOfInvention | urea compounds, pharmaceutical compositions containing them and their use in the treatment of inflammatory diseases |
abstract | "UREDIC COMPOUNDS, PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING THE SAME AND ITS USE IN THE TREATMENT OF INFLAMMATORY DISEASES". The present invention discloses functionalized ethyl 6-N-alkyl and / or 6-N-aryl ureas ¢ 1,3-dioxolo ¢ 5,4-g-quinoline-7-carboxylate derivatives (3a-z, 4a-z); and congeners (5a-z) of general formula (I, II, III and IV), useful in the treatment and / or prevention of diseases of inflammatory origin, such as acute or chronic inflammatory conditions, different types of arthritis. , asthma, Crohn's disease and type I diabetes mellitus, among others. These derivatives have the ability to modulate the inflammatory process by acting at the level of the p-38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK-p38). Moreover, the derivatives of the present invention exhibit significant anti-inflammatory properties measured in in vivo models. The present invention also discloses processes for producing such derivatives and pharmaceutical compositions containing them. |
