titleOfInvention Improved process for catalytically hydrogenating methylenedianiline to its hydrogenated ring counterpart
abstract "IMPROVED PROCESS FOR CATALYTIC HYDROGENIZATION OF METHYLENTHYANILINE TO ITS HYDROGENIZED RING COUNTERPARTS". The invention relates to a process for the catalytic hydrogenation of impurity-loaded methylenedianiline supplies commonly referred to as MDA-50 and MDA-60. The process for hydrogenation of methylenedianiline containing at least 40 wt% oligomer function comprises: contacting the hydrogen supply in the presence of a rhodium / charged ruthenium catalyst system on a lithium aluminate support under conditions to effect ring hydrogenation .
