titleOfInvention isolated polynucleotide molecule, polypeptide, recombinant DNA molecule, expression vector, recombinant organism as well as processes for producing l-ascorbic acid, l-sorbosone dehydrogenase and vitamin c
abstract "ISOLATED POLYNUCLEOTIDE, POLYPEPTIDE, ISOLATED DNA RECOMBINANT MOLECULE, EXPRESSION VECTOR, RECOMBINATING ORGANISM, AS WELL AS PROCESSES FOR PRODUCING L-ASCORBIC ACID, L-SORBOSONE DISEASE, AND CORBOSONE. The present invention relates to an isolated polynucleotide molecule derived from a polynucleotide encoding a polypeptide having L-sorbosone dehydrogenase activity comprising a partial nucleotide sequence of at least 20 consecutive nucleotides of SEQ ID NO: 1. The present invention also relates to a process for producing high yield L-ascorbic acid, in particular a process using resting cells of a microorganism capable of converting a given carbon source to vitamin C. The vitamin C thus obtained can be also processed by purification and / or separation steps.
