abstract "LOADED THERMOPLASTIC COMPOSITION, SOUND BUILDING SHEET AND CARPET". Loaded and plasticized mixtures of alkyl and ethylene acrylate copolymers produced in organic acid-modified tubular reactor, consisting essentially of (a) about 1 to about 50% by weight of at least one alkyl acrylate copolymer and ethylene produced in tubular reactor; (b) about 1 to 20% by weight of at least one plasticizer selected from the group consisting of processing oils, epoxidized oils, polyesters, polyethers and polyether esters; (c) about 40 to about 90% by weight of filler; (d) about 0.05 to about 5% by weight of at least one organic acid or acid derivative selected from the group consisting of saturated or unsaturated mono- and polycarboxylic acids containing from six to 54 carbon atoms and their mixtures; and optionally (e) from 0 to about 5 wt% binder. Also described are sound delivery sheets comprising such compositions. Also described are floor mats, especially automotive floor mats, which have back coverings comprising such compositions.
