abstract |
"eyepiece having selective spectral response". an eyepiece lens to provide selective spectral performance in response to varying light or light conditions, including both changes in spectral intensity and distribution. The lens selectively responds for both ultraviolet and visible lights, and exhibits different spectral transmission characteristics under different light conditions to provide better user vision. In addition to this active response, the lens may also include a polarizer to control light and minimize glare that interferes with clear vision. |
