abstract |
"VEGETABLE FATTY ACID AMID HYDROLASES". The present invention relates to plant fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH) encoding sequences. Also provided are constructs comprising these sequences, plants transformed with them and methods of use thereof. The invention allows modification of plants to N-Acylethanolamine levels and FAAH activity. Such a modification can be used to produce plants that are optimized for growth, seed germination, pathogen response and stress tolerance. |
