"Compound, Formulation, Use of a Compound, and Process for the Preparation of a Polyoxyalkylene Glycol Ester". New nonionic surfactants in the form of polyoxyalkylene glycol hydroxy fatty acid derivatives or monoalkylated polyoxyalkylene glycol hydroxy fatty acid derivatives having a polyoxyalkylene / alkyl polyoxyalkylene chain having a chain length of 25 - 455 repeating units and a substituent specified at the hydroxyl position of the specified hydroxy fatty acid according to general formula (I) where, for example, R 1 is methyl, R 2 is acyl, alkyl, or optionally substituted C 14 -C 22 alkenyl. R3 is ethylene, x is 2-12, y is 717, (x + y) is 3-19 and z is 25-57; advantageously prepared by involving an enzymatic process, the compound formulations thereof, their use as a solubilizer in a process involving a hydrolytic enzyme for the preparation thereof. |
