"POLYMERIC DISPERSANT AS A FLUIDIFYING AGENT OF HYDRAULIC BINDER COMPOSITIONS AND PREPARATION PROCESS". Polycarboxylated polymeric dispersant comprising at least one copolymer obtained from a monomer composition comprising in moles: A) 40 to 95% of at least one unsaturated carboxylic monomer B) 5 to 60% of at least one acrylic ester monomer or methacrylic containing a polyether chain C) 0 to 20% of at least one third monomer selected from: acrylic ester or methacrylic ester or acrylamide or acrylamide derivative or aromatic vinyl monomer or sulfonated derivative thereof the copolymer having a controlled molecular weight distribution, obtainable by a process comprising the steps of: i) polymerization in aqueous solution at a temperature ranging from 70 to 95 ° C, with a pumping and transfer system comprising: D) an oxidizing agent, E ) a reducing agent, selected from the metabisulphite salts, preferably sodium or potassium metabisulphite, the monomers / reduct molar ratio not exceeding 50. (ii) Semi-continuous addition of oxidant and monomer mixture within 1 to 4 hours. (iii) introduction of the reducer either into the pan foot with the onset of oxidant and monomer in semi-continuous mixed with the monomers or in semi-continuous in separate feed of these and the oxidant. The invention also relates to a specific process of preparation and use as a fluidizing agent in mineral hydraulic binder compositions or as a dispersing agent in pigment masses or aqueous polymer dispersions. |
