titleOfInvention method for treating chronic hepatitis, recombinant hsc chimeric protein molecule, and method for enhancing the production of one or more of the cd8 +, cd 4 + t cells that produce gamma and cytotoxic t lymphocytes against hepatitis b virus.
abstract "METHOD FOR TREATING CHRONIC HEPATITIS, RECOMBINANT HBC CHEMICAL PROTEIN MOLECULATION, AND METHOD FOR INCREASING ONE OR MORE CD 8+, CD 4+ T CELLS WHICH PRODUCE BITROXY VITROCYTES TYPOTHYTES " A method for treating chronic hepatitis B is disclosed which comprises administering a T cell stimulation amount of a vaccine to a patient. The vaccine comprises an immunogenic amount of chimeric, carboxy terminal (HBc) truncated hepatitis B virus nucleocapsid protein (nucleus) that is engineered for both the marked stability of self-aggregating particles and the substantial absence of nucleic acid binding. for these particles. The chimeric protein molecule may include one or more peptide-linked immunogenic epitopes at one or more of the N-terminus, the immunogenic loop or the C-terminus of HBc. The marked stability of the self-aggregating particles is achieved by the presence of at least one heterologous cysteine residue near one or both of the amino terminus and the carboxy terminus of the chimeric molecule.
