"chimeric gene, chimeric protein, recombinant virus, vaccine composition, use of a vaccine composition, therapeutic or preventative combination, and plasmid". chimeric hiv genes formed by the binding of fragments of different genes of this virus are described, and these fragments contain epitopes for cytotoxic (ctl) or helper t-cells from hiv-1, which are presented by a wide range of antigen from the virus. type 1 human histocompatibility system (hla-1). From these genes recombinant poxviruses are obtained which are useful for prophylactic and therapeutic vaccination against HIV / AIDS infection capable of generating a protective cellular immune response in immunized laboratory animals and being recognized by the ctl lymphocytes of HIV / AIDS patients. |
