abstract "Cell Harvesting Devices and Processes". devices and processes for cell harvesting are described. more particularly, this invention relates to devices and methods for allowing the formation of a tissue-derived cell dispersion for medical or research use. This invention provides a rapid process for cell isolation, thereby reducing the time and costs associated with producing autologous cells, where required, for example, for operating room tissue engineering or research. alternatively, this invention may be used to separate a cell dispersion containing cells of various sizes or types originating from a predigested tissue dispersion. Also described is a kit that provides basic device components and instructions for using the device.
