titleOfInvention Process for the preparation of instantly soluble solid products for pharmaceutical use, said products, method of prevention and treatment
abstract "PROCESS FOR PREPARING SOLID PRODUCTS INSTANTLY SOLUBLE FOR PHARMACEUTICAL USE, Said PRODUCTS, METHOD OF PREVENTION AND TREATMENT". The present invention relates to solid water-soluble pharmaceutical compositions and their solutions in aqueous solvents, said compositions containing a). as an active ingredient a finely dispersed amorphous taxoid preferably lyophilized and with an extensive surface area, such as paclitaxel or docetaxel, its salts and their polymorphic hydrates or solvates, such as solvates formed with ethanol and b). finely dispersed amorphous acetyl-y-cyclodextrin or hydroxy-propyl-ß-cyclodextrin (cyclodextrin), preferably lyophilized and with an external surface area, whereby the weight ratio of said taxoid: said cyclodextrin varies between 1: 25 and 1: 400; ç). and optionally other water-soluble auxiliary materials common in drugs for parenteral purposes.
