titleOfInvention Replacement of catechol bioisomer with indazole in therapeutically active compounds
abstract Invention Patent: <B> "REPLACEMENT OF CATECOL BIOISTERER BY INDAZOL IN THERAPEUTICALLY ACTIVE COMPOUNDS" <D>. Therapeutically active material compositions and their member species are described, comprising compounds containing indazole, in which said compounds and their pharmaceutical activity result directly from a replacement of catechol-by-indazole bio-ester of a compound containing catechol having the same therapeutic activity. , where said non-catechol substituents are the same or homologous before and after said substitution, wherein said compositions of matter comprise a compound of Formula (I¹) or (I²): or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein in a preferred embodiment R ^ C ^ represents hydrogen; R ^ A ^ represents cyclohexyl; and R ^ B ^ represents ethyl. R ~ a ~ and R ~ b ~ each represent, independently and independently, hydrogen or non-catechol substituents of said compounds, which result directly from a catechol-by-indazole bioisoster substitution of said catechol-containing compound having said activity therapeutics, where said non-catechol substituents are the same or homologous before and after said replacement, provided that R ~ a ~ and R ~ b ~ cannot represent both at the same time, hydrogen. The therapeutic activity involved may comprise cholinesterase inhibitory activity, <244> ~ 1 ~ -antagonist and <225> ~ 1 ~ -adrenergic activity, calcium channel inhibitory activity, antineoplastic activity, and type IV phosphodiesterase inhibitory activity.
