The present invention relates to a transparent pigment composition for paint, characterized by being obtained by coupling with acetylacet-2-anisidine a mixture of diazonium salts obtained from 98 to 85% by moles of 2-methoxy-4-nitro -aniline and 2 to 15 mole% of 4-chloro-2-nitroaniline. The present invention relates to a process for preparing such a composition and for use in printing inks or pigment concentrates to make printing ink.
