titleOfInvention Process for the treatment of infections caused by protozoa, pharmaceutical composition, and container for unitary disease.
abstract "PROCESS FOR THE TREATMENT OF INFECTIONS CAUSED BY PROTOZOARIES, PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION, AND, UNITARY DOSAGE CONTAINER". a process for treating infections caused by protozoa is described. The process employs N-acetonylbenzamide compounds supplied in an amount effective to inhibit the growth of protozoa. The compounds are useful in the control of such protozoan parasites as Giardia lamblia, Leishmania major, Entamoeba histolytica, Cryptosporidium parvum, Toxoplasma gondii and microsporids.
