titleOfInvention Aqueous dispersion, processes for the production of a polymer, for making paper, for removing residual paper ink, for controlling pine resin in paper-making machinery, for removing suspended materials from an aquatic stream, for clarifying water, to improve the removal of water from an aqueous sludge sludge, and to break an oil-in-water or water-in-oil emulsion.
abstract "WATER DISPERSION, PROCESSES FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A POLYMER, FOR PAPER MANUFACTURING, TO REMOVE RESIDUAL PAPER INK, TO CONTROL PINE RESIN IN PAPER MANUFACTURING MACHINERY, FOR THE REMOVAL OF SUSPENDED PURPLE MATERIALS FOR A PURPLE PURPLE MATERIAL, FOR A PURPLE MATERIAL. OF WATER, TO IMPROVE THE REMOVAL OF WATER FROM A WATER SLUDGE MUD, AND TO BREAK AN EMULSION OF OIL IN WATER OR OF WATER IN OIL ". Water-soluble polymers, dispersible in aqueous saline, and aqueous saline solutions containing dispersed polymers are produced by the polymerization, in an aqueous saline solution, of soluble ethylenically unsaturated monomers, in the presence of at least one carbohydrate. Polymers and aqueous saline solutions containing dispersed polymers are useful for making paper, clarifying water and breaking emulsions.
