abstract "DISPERSION OF PARTICLES OF A POLYMER OF A POLYMERIZABLE MONUMBER BY ADDITION, POLYMERIC PARTICLES AND POLYURETHANE FOAM". A polyol polymer is produced by a process comprising free radical polymerization of a di- (substituted phenyl) monomer component e.g. an aromatic halogen and at least one ethylenically unsaturated aromatic substituent. The polyol polymer can also be made by copolymerizing said monomer with an additional ethylenically isaturated monomer component such as styrene and acrylonitrile. Said polyol polymers were reacted with an isocyanate component to form a flame retardant polyurethane foam.
